loopy

loopy is a puzzle game that’s something like a cross between Tetris and Pipe Dream.

How to play

Arrange the falling pipe segments into closed loops, which will then vanish. The longer the loop, the more points you get!

As you progress through the game, new blocks with two different pipe segments also begin to appear.

You will also receive bombs, which remove one piece, and toolboxes, which remove a complete connected trail of pipes.

Controls

You may use the keyboard (left/right arrows to move, up arrow to rotate, down arrow to drop) or touch (tap on the virtual keys on the left side on the screen, or swipe left/right/down to move and drop and tap on the playfield to rotate.

Challenge

I’ll mail a hand-signed 3½″ diskette containing this game to all players who reach level 8 without cheating and send me a gameplay video as documentation.
